2019年9月16日、日本生物工学会大会において、高橋将人博士研究員と青柳秀紀教授が、論文（Effect of intermittent opening of breathable culture plugs and aeration of headspace on the structure of microbial communities in shake-flask culture J. Biosci. Bioeng., Vol.126, No.1, 96～101, 2018）により第27回 生物工学論文賞（公益社団法人日本生物工学会）を受賞しました。
